The sun dips low in the Western sky towards the watery horizon. The clouds are ablaze with red and orange and golden rays stream between them.

The beach is deserted, except for two figures strolling hand in hand, bare footed through the waves as they curve up in irregular patterns on the sandy shore.

They both stop to take in the glory of the scene before them. He slips an arm around her waist, and she rests her head against his shoulder. They are clearly very much at ease, each with the other.

Gulls add their lonely cries, as the sun settles as a giant orange ball on the distant horizon.

He pulls her closer and and she places an arm around him. The warm Summer breeze ruffles her hair, and his, as well as the short scrubby grass on the dunes behind them. The dying rays of the sun highlight in their eyes, and casts it's warm golden glow on their skin.

He whispers something, and she smiles, pressing her head onto his shoulder. They share a trust and a unity that is unique.

The remnants of a wave that began it's journey many hundreds of miles from this place expends itself at their feet. ...
