Just A Day, Unlike Any Other By: the Saxa

Enjoy, everyone- After months of reading, I've finally decided to put my thoughts to paper. Thanks to all the authors who've influenced me: without you, I wouldn't be writing this. This story features real people in very un-real situations. Let me know what you think, and remember, it's a fantasy world.

I reached over and smacked at my alarm. Uncooperatively, it dove for the floor. The beeping continued. Crap. The alarm hung in mid-air, suspended by its cord, while my roommate managed to continue snoring.

I hate this alarm clock, I hate mornings, and I hate living on a bunk bed. You'd think by my junior year I would have gotten a room by myself.

My roommate Chris rolled over, mumbling to himself. I reached out, and caught the cord of the errant clock- and managed to fall out of bed.
