For some reason, I was at home just kicking back or making dinner for you while you were at work. Lord knows what I would have been cooking, probably fish with some treacly creamy sauce that ensures another kilo onto your hips just by looking at it! Whatever delights that existed in the kitchen, I was kicking back doing something like reading the papers when you opened the front door and seemed to take an eternity to come in. Something was slightly amiss. I called out and you seemed to reply in a dejected tired voice. It wasn't like you and as I stepped out to the hall, your face said it all.

So much for a nice jovial day at work! As you dropped your bags, you entered the kitchen and gave me a hug. I told you to kick back as dinner would be ready a while, as I took off your coat and offered you a glass of wine and suggested that you kick back on the sofa.

A few minutes later, I brought in the wine for you as you channel hopped looking for some soap or whatever amusing to watch. I headed back to finish making our meal and served it up calling out to let you know. The meal passed as we discussed your day. Some young fella seemed to get the better of you and the weather did not help your stressed humour. Not even the wine put much of a smile on your face and certainly not my cooking, lol
