Janet's son, John, had been off to college for over two years and one day he called and told her about an adorable girl he met last semester and wanted her to meet. He brought his girlfriend home with him for the week-end and introduced his mother to Jenny.

Initially Janet was not the least bit nervous; she had met many of John's friends, male and female, but this seemed altogether different.
