Buddies

I'm a student, thus I study. But there is more to life than studies. Much more. This I learned from May, the loveliest girl ever to have walked the earth. I've been studying for far too long now, but my masters degree doesn't seem any closer to completion now than it did last year. Somehow I've never quite understood why people rush through their studies, granted they get some more money by working. But then again, I get by quite well working part time jobs. And I know all too well how many worries comes with a job that pays well. And responsibilities. I'm still young enough to enjoy life, and still in a position to just go somewhere a week on a whim if I want to. Nobody will tell me I can easily do that while working a $50000 a year job.

So, my life is great right now, unimpeded freedom, no responsibilities, and enough money to do what I want. Can it get any better than this? A year ago I wouldn't have thought so, but now I know better. All because of May.
