"Andrea, my dear, I am so sorry to hear about your loss." he commented as he pulled her into his arms for a soothing hug.

Andrea placed her face against this old White man's chest and wondered who he was and how did he know she had a recent loss. She had met a lot of White people in her life, but she didn't know this man. Obviously he knew her and she was beginning to wonder if she should be scared or not. This could be one of those set-ups where he was pretending and he was trying to rob or kill her. At that thought, she quickly pulled away. She tried to make her face look sad and despondent, but she didn't think it worked.

"I'm sorry dear. I forgot to reintroduce myself. I'm Barton Langston, Keely's brother." he introduced himself.

At light went on in Andrea's head at that moment. Keely Brighton was her old neighbor. She forgot that Keely had an older brother; she had only met him once when he came to visit Keely during a summer.

"Oh, my gosh, Mr. Langston, I am so sorry. I didn't recognize you."
