It was another sleepless night for Kelly and as she tossed and turned in the dark of her room she couldn't help but think of the last time she had been unable to sleep. Drew had turned her sleepless night into a night to remember. The clock glowed 2:15am and she wondered if Drew was having as much trouble sleeping as she was. Kelly went to a small school with a safe campus. There had never been any break-ins and students felt so safe they rarely even locked their doors. Kelly had a feeling that Drew's door would probably be unlocked and she started to get the crazy idea of sneaking down to his room and surprising him.

She climbed out of bed and silently moved to her desk and grabbed her keys. She crept out the door and closed it slowly so she wouldn't wake her roommate. The hall glowed florescent and the bright lights only made her more awake. She quickly moved down the stairs to Drew's floor. She soon found his door and paused to listen. She couldn't tell whether or not a light was on inside and should couldn't hear anything. She felt her heart pound in her chest as she reached for the doorknob and slowly started to turn it. She opened the door as slowly as she possibly could and once it was open enough for her to fit threw it she slipped into the room and turned to close the door again. There were no lights on. She closed the door as quickly as she dared to prevent light from getting into the room.
