We had been hiking for a couple of hours; our packs seemed to be getting heavier with each step when we heard the soft roar in the distance. As we came over the top of the hill we could see a waterfall, rising up about a hundred feet and crashing down into a large pool of water that continued on into the river. We sat our packs down at the edge of the water and stripped down to our underwear and jumped in. We swam and splashed, grabbing at one another playfully. You dove under the water near me and I felt your fingers hook into the elastic band of my underwear and tug them down.
