She wouldn't tell me where she was taking me. Which was just like her. In the last five months that we had been together I had yet to figure out whether or not she liked to surprise me or if she just liked to see the torture I put myself through trying to figure out what she was planning.

It was a nice night out. The sky was clear and shaded this perfect shade of blue that would make even a non believer wonder about Heaven. The trees that lined the side of the road swayed in the breeze lending this feel of peace to my heart. Interesting since I am never at peace. There was a CD playing through the speakers of the car. I wasn't quite sure what it was because it was playing so low. I loved my music loud and pumping in my ears but she seemed to like it low and soothing. She was such a girl!

I turned my body so that my back was to the door of the car and I was facing her. Licking my lips I observed her as she drove. She was beautiful. The headlights of the cars behind us highlighted her profile. She appeared stunning as if she was standing under the spotlight of a famous photographer at a photo shoot. Though I knew if I even attempted to tell her that she would tell me I was full of it.

She turned to me with a half smile. "Why are you looking at me like that silly?"
