I woke up in the morning, felling slightly woozy. The window was letting in too bright light. Shadows danced in the faintly illuminated room, and as I gazed around, my eyes fell onto an unknown bed companion. She had glossy brown hair that glowed even in the gloomy lighting of the room. the sheets covered her only to her navel, and she was pacing away. Having no idea who this woman was, i jumped out, and realized, too late, that not only was i naked, but that there was a long oblong object just in the right position for my foot to land on and make me take the least graceful fall of my life.

She stirred and all pain was forgotten as i held my hopeful breath that she wouldn't wake up. her head turned and faced me and with it came the flood of memories from the previous night.

I had gone to a cosy little restaurant where they made pizza a l'Italiana. The place was not to far from where i lived, a mere 2 minute walk. It was a nice beige like yellow that was well toned in the lighting. i sat near the back wall, where i was able to watch the chefs prepare and bake their pizzas' at the open kitchen. The smell of the wood smoke would permeate the room, making nice and warm, especially with the cold outside.

As i sat at my usual chair, the waiter who usually served me came to the table and told me of the days pizzas. I ordered the Diavola, and said i would like the usual wine with it. ...
