MAX Part one of two parts

My business was now doing well enough to allow taking some time for R & R. The winter months of January, February and March were the ideal times. Not only is the weather in New England miserable but also it is the low period relative to my business. Decided to take the month of January and heading south to warmer climates. Do not particularly like the cold weather, and being an avid jogger find running in cold weather not the most pleasurable. Packed up and headed toward SW Florida.

We rented a condo for a few miles from Sanibel and the Florida beaches. The first day after we got settled in went out for my early morning jog. Prefer jogging in the early morning or evening, it is cooler, not as much traffic (pedestrians, bike and other runners). It was a real pleasure to slip on my lightweight running shorts, cut high on the thigh with only a loose liner. Also had on a "T" shirt, which I intended to take off once away from the populated area. If I had my choice would run in the nude, which makes one feel free as a bird. Headed down the bike path in the general direction of Sanibel knowing I would not go over the causeway but at least would give me a feel for the lay of the land. Naturally planned to keep my eyes open for what might appear to be good spots for, shall we say, extra curricular ...
