THE PEPSIE GUY

One morning during my jog down toward the beach was surprised to see a Pepsi Cola truck pass me. Figured the guy must have taken a wrong turn. Knew this road led to a dead end with a small parking and turn around area. Also knew he would have a time turning that big rig around down there.

As I jogged could see his lights moving indicating he was jogging around trying to get turned around. After a bit they were shining up the road indicating that he had successfully made the turn. Then they went out wondered, if he had indeed taken the wrong turn, why did he turn his lights out? Maybe he had not just taken a wrong turn but had some thing else in mind.

The distance from the beginning of the access road to the beach was only a mile. From where I was at and the rate I was running would be there in less than 5 minutes. As I crossed over the bridge and started down the last couple hundred yards could see his truck sitting with it's parking lights on. Could barley make out the driver looked like he was walking around the area sort of looking for something or at least "casing" the area. ...
