I had been having stomach pains off and on for about three months and knew I would have to go to the doctor sooner or later to get it checked out. The pain was really getting bad. I called my family doctor, whom I hadn't seen in about two years since I hated going to see him. It was soo embarrassing, he would put the thesiscope to my chest and I would start trembling all over, cause I was so nervous. But, I called and made an appointment for today at 9am. Better to get an appointment in the morning so I could go in and get it done and not half to think about it all day long.

I walked into the doctor's office, signed in and the receptionist asked me to fill out new paperwork since I hadn't been in for so long. I filled it out, gave it back to her, sat back down and waited for her to call me back.

"Miss Danforth," the receptionist called, "Come on back with me." I stood and followed her down the hallway and into an examination room. The nurse put a pillow on the table, removed a gown from the drawer, layed it on the table. I started getting a bad feeling as soon as she put that thin paper gown on the table.

"Remove all your clothing and put the gown on please, the doctor will be in shortly." Then she turned and walked out the door, closing it behind her. I quickly undressed, hoping the doctor wouldn't come in too soon and find me with no clothes on, and put on the thin paper gown. I ...
