Leo Ricci had grown up in South Boston with his older brother, Donnie. Donnie was 3 years older than Leo, and had always been a great influence on him. Leo always looked up to his brother, and now he couldn't wait to see him again. In Leo's senior year of high school, Donnie had enlisted in the Air Force as a crew chief on fighter jets. After Donnie came back from his basic and technical training, Leo noticed that his once chubby brother had slimmed down. Donnie was only an inch taller than Leo, who was 5 foot 9. But Donnie always had been about 210 pounds, compared to Leo's 165. Now Donnie was only 180 pounds and he looked more muscular than when he'd left.

"So they whipped your ass into shape, cut your hair, and now they're sending you off? I hope I can visit you when I am on summer vacation." said Leo enthusiastically. "Where did you say you were going again?". Donnie smiled at his mother and said, "Leo in England on his own? What do you think ma?". "I don't know yet. We'll see." said Mrs. Ricci. "Now you boys make sure you're both careful tonight, ok?". Both of the boys kissed their mother on the way out the door. Donnie was 21, and liked all of the attention he was getting from the girls in his neighborhood since he was back, so he took Leo to a party that he was invited to earlier that day.
