My wife and I have been married for 30 years and have had an excellent sex life until the last four years. My life, however changed one night when we were eating at one of our favorite restaurants. All of a sudden, my heart began pounding; my left arm began hurting; I became clammy and I felt as though I was about to throw up. My wife (Kay) saw what was happening and she said, "Come on- we are going to the hospital." When we arrived, the emergency room was waiting for us and took me right in. Needless to say, we all thought I was having a heart attack. I was checked from head to toe and kept overnight- thank goodness- I was not having a heart attack- it was a panic attack.

I was prescribed Paxil and sent back home. As long as I was taking this drug, everything with me was fine- with one exception. I could not get an erection. Now, you have to understand that I considered myself as a great lover; so this came down on me like a ton of bricks. I tried everything, from viagra to every other kind of male enhancer- nothing worked. I told my doctor about this problem and he said that paxil created this bad side effect. I was between the devil and the deep blue sea. If I came off this drug, then my attacks would come back. If I continued taking paxil, my attacks would go away, but I wasn't able to have sex any longer. What a situation to be in!!

I talked it over with my wife and she said that my health came first- so sex went out the window. For the first year we got aong fine, but then I noticed that Kay began looking at good looking men that came her way. ...
