Jen was going to be late for her lunch appointment. She had set up an appointment with a potential client. If she landed this contract it could mean a big promotion for her. All day her luck had not gone well. Bright and early in the morning she had a call from her ex, explaining that he would be able to take Jimmy for the weekend as he had previously arranged. That left Jenn with ruined weekend plans and set the tone for the whole day.
