We were waiting in the dark shadows of the huge, four car garage and once the man and woman stepped from the safety of the Jaguar, it took mere seconds for my partner to grab the keys from the driver's hand while pressing a knife to his throat. I took the keys in one hand and the woman's upper arm in the other and quickly opened the side door before we bundled the stunned couple into the safety and privacy of the richly carpeted hall.

Once inside, I immediately pulled the woman closely to me, my arm encircling her neck, ensuring the wicked gleam of my own knife pressed lightly against her smooth, tanned skin was clearly visible to her husband.

"Turn off that fucking alarm!" I growled, nodding to the control panel on the wall nearby.

The woman's grunt of pain as I tightened my arm around her neck stalled any hesitation on his part and he quickly crossed the floor to the alarm panel, shadowed closely by Kris, knife still at the ready.

I breathed a subtle sigh of relief as the man's trembling fingers crawled across the control panel and immediately afterward, the flashing warning light went out.

"Very good, now don't start fucking around now. Where's the safe?" I ...
