I flew in from New York to Houston, Texas on Sunday April 1, 2001 for WrestleMania X-7 to meet with WWF wrestling superstar Steve Austin about his acting career. I had started working as an actor on All My Children six months earlier. I met Steve at a show in New York and we talked every so often after that. He invited me to be his guest at WrestleMania, so I took him up on the offer and made my way out there. I advised Steve that it was a good time for him to do acting because his career was peaking and it's important to capitalize on that. I was a huge wrestling fan so it was a thrill to be able to be at WrestleMania.

I arrived at the Astrodome at around 4pm or so and I met with Steve only briefly. I also met his wife Debra for the second time, also a WWF performer, although she was a late scratch from the WrestleMania card. ...
