The week passed slowly for Alicia, but Saturday finally came. To her disappointment, it was bitter cold outside, and although she wanted to keep her clothing light and easy to take off, she had to put on jeans and a sweater. She bundled herself in her winter coat, grabbed her clothes bag, and went to her car.

Shauna's house was located in Skokie. It looked pretty big from the outside, causing Alicia to exclaim ‘Wow' out loud. The house was surrounded by a brick fence, and made the house look even larger. The gate was open, and Alicia went ahead and pulled in near the door. She grabbed her bag, got out of the car, and rang the doorbell.

Alicia was waddling to keep herself warm, standing in the wind. The door was finally opened by a bathrobed Shauna.

"You're early!" she said.

"I know, I'm sorry," said Alicia.

"Come on in, you poor thing..."

Alicia walked in and started explaining the reason for her earliness.

"I thought traffic would be really bad, with this weather. That, and I was really too excited to wait any longer..." ...
