Despite Wally's belief that my own hand-written novel as "worthless", he and I were going to a book-signing in Escanaba - which is about an hour's drive from our home. I wore a vibrant leafy green dress with a handkerchief bottom - that brought out the color of my sparkling green eyes and made me look unbearably sexy - with a pair of red heels, and he was dressed in a nice grey sweater, black slacks and black dress shoes. He had shaved his beard into a goatee and long sideburns for me, and he looked smoking hot.

To my complete surprise, upon reaching the hotel, I discovered that my number one disbeliever had hired a limo for us to travel in style to and from the booksigning even, as if we were mega stars. The book signing went on for almost three hours. I had no idea my novel was being marketed this well, and I was exhilarated and glowing.

Afterwards, it had just became dark and Wally took my hand (uncharacteristically I may add) as we walked to the limo. He held the door open for me as few straggling screaming fans were actually taking pictures of me! I beamed smiles to them and waved appreciatively. I was not about to say I was going to get used to this treatment, but it was nice to be acknowledged after working on that damn novel for over half my life.
