Victoria Principal wondered when the jokes from her close friends were ever stop. When she decided to lend her name, image and time to promoting a new line of skin care products, those close to her were extremly supportive, at least face to face, about her new endeavor. Soon after she dove headlong into trying to get the company off the ground however, she started getting the sense that none of her confidants really thought she could manage a successful business such as the one she had founded.

Victoria heard all the snide jokes behind her back when much of her advertising dollars were spent on late night infomercials on cable and when no major female stars would come out and publically endorse her line beauty supplies.

Although intitially it wasn't her goal to compete with Avon and Revlon, when she felt no one thought she could make the company profitable, it made her determined to actually make it work.
