Part 1

Jenny had been a teacher for almost 5 years now and felt she had found a home here at Sangler College. She and her husband Dan loved living in Meads, a typical small midwestern college town. It was almost like living in a movie, where everyone knew everyone, and they had concerts in the town Square on Sundays. Jenny was glad that they had to move here when they offered her the job of Art and English professor. Dan had been getting a wild streak, still running with his old buddies while she was still in college in Chicago, and Jenny was worried that their marriage would end up a failure. When they offered Jenny a full professorship with housing, they couldn't say no. Dan worked in sales for a medical supply firm who allowed him to transfer his accounts to Meads and do most of his work over the internet. About once a month he was required to return to Chicago for a sales meeting or something similar but it was usually for just a night or two.

The College even made Jenny the girls counselor and for the past 5 years their lives were wonderful. Wonderful until Samantha came to her college. Right from the beginning Samantha was trouble, coming to classes late, missing classes, drinking on campus. She ended up in Jenny's counseling office within 6 months of arriving.
