Liz and I had been together for about 4 months, though we'd known each other much longer. Things were going wonderfully and we were having lots of fun together (in more ways than one). But one topic that had come up more than a few times was the question of asking another woman to join us. Liz had been curious for some time as to what it would be like to be with another woman, but she could never quite bring herself to go through with it. It wasn't a big issue; we had plenty of exciting times together, however once she brought up the idea, it was one that kept coming back to me. I knew I had to figure out some way of making it happen.

I was having dinner with my friend Gina one afternoon and the conversation came to Liz's fantasy. Gina and Liz knew each other well, they had few secrets if any. And on occasion I'd even caught the two of them flirting, though it had never gone past that. Gina mentioned that she liked the idea of being with Liz, and though she said it jokingly I could sense a sliver of truth behind it. As the night wore on we both toyed with the idea, and even came close to calling Liz over to discuss it. But as we were about to, a thought occurred to me. Since its something Liz has already mulled over and isn't totally against, it might be more fun to surprise her with it. I talked it over with Gina and she agreed. Over the next several days she and I talked back and forth (unbeknownst to Liz, of course) and decided just how we'd like to go ahead with it.
