Roger Reborn 7 By Will Buster

On Wednesday morning Allan found Roger sitting inside the old chapel, apparently contemplating the old ruined church. He remembered that his son had loved to play here as a youngster but somehow this was not in character considering the young man's deportment over the last few years. Allan had much to discuss with him not the least of which was Katherine Langdon. He decided to use the indirect approach. This new formidable intelligence had a way of reading motives and seeing through the more shallow justifications of a person's behavior. He didn't know what to think, but he would reserve judgment until some of Roger's future predictions either came true or did not.

"I see you spend a bit of time here. It's just an old ruin. I probably should have had it torn down years ago and the stone sold off."

Roger gave his father a frosty smile. "You know, I know this will sound strange to you but it seems that this place is so familiar to me. It's like I can almost remember it. It's also strange that I can ride a horse easily and comfortably. It's like the muscles of my body know exactly what to do. Isn't that odd?"

Allan raised his eyebrows as if to show skepticism. "Oh I don't know. Wouldn't it be natural that the mind be affected to some extent by the body? I find it singularly interesting that you might be remembering ...
