Alanda was both intrigued and a little frightened by her new husband. They were visiting the Valley of the Kings and Amin's knowledge of the area bordered on the ridiculous. Amin shrugged, "Not really, that's the way it was back then. Pharaoh could have any woman he desired including his sister or daughter. Actually it was considered a great honor to share the royal bed. Ramesses took full advantage of it. But he was never the same after his first great love, Nefertiti passed away. It was quite sad actually. Nefertiti was his soul mate, if anyone was. Her passing was probably the main reason he had such a stiff neck when Moses demanded liberty for the Hebrews. Ramesses was an odd duck."
