Wayward Niece

My wife Judy and I live alone, no kids and are both working professionals. My wife's sister, Kay, lives several states away and called the other night with a crisis. Kay's daughter Amanda was a senior in high school and had become an unruly teenager that they could no longer control. She had gotten herself in with the wrong crowd, started drinking and had acquired several tattoos and body piercings along the way which really detracted from her natural beauty.
