Two weeks ago, we were on the boat, of course, and had a hell of an experience that you need to hear about!

We were up the St. Mary's River at an anchorage behind an island, away from the main channel, and only one other boat was there. I went fishing in the dinghy, and made a pass close to the other sailboat and wound up getting into a conversation with the couple on it. They had screwed up and lost their main halyard up the mast. Having been there and done that, I volunteered to give them a hand in retrieving it at the masthead.
