Adventures in a New Home 4 By: Sam

For new readers, this is the 4th edition of my adventures that were in the 'Romantic' section. Too few readers, too few votes compelled me to put this story in its appropriate category. Hope you enjoy, reader feedback always welcome.

David and I returned to Baltimore to contact a Realtor for the sale of my house, and arrange our move to the eastern shore of Maryland. As luck would have it, David had received an offer for a new job, one that he said could not be turned down. We agreed that he would live in my house until he got things straightened out for a bit. We hoped that we would be reunited eventually at my place on the shore.

The storage and moving companies loved David and me. The furniture that I chose to take to my new house had to be packed and moved; David’s furniture had to be taken from storage and moved into my house; and the leftovers were subjected to a yard sale and donated to charity.
