"We need to make these dares more risky!" Paul said.

Paul and I have been friends for years and know each other better than anyone else. In an effort to cheer me up after finishing with my boyfriend, Paul has started up a game of "Dare" where we had to challenge each other to do increasingly hard things. They'd started off fairly harmless and just a bit of a laugh to do, but we were constantly trying to out-do each other.

"So, what did you have in mind?" I asked. The drink had been flowing quite freely, and Paul was at his most creative when he'd had a couple of beers.

"Well, I have this friend at the garage where I work, Tony." Paul began. I knew of Tony, I'd seen him a couple of times when I went to see Paul on his lunch break. "I don't think Tony's seen a woman properly in months, maybe years" he laughed.

"No, something more subtle I think" Paul said, leaning back on the sofa. "You're an attractive woman, you would brighten his day"
