Their eyes met when he was in the aisle several seats away from her. Both of their wishes came true seconds later; he would be sharing the seat next to her during the long flight from Miami to Las Vegas. He got a cute giggle out of her when he made the remark about how the Wright brothers were probably not 6'3" in stature when they invented the modern day jet airplane. The flight would go by quickly, as it seemed they were meant to talk about anything and everything, and that they did.

Jessica was going to Vegas to attend a writers conference. Grant called Seattle home and had been in Florida to help with the publicity of an upcoming novel. After sitting next to this brown haired brown eyed beauty on the plane, he was glad he decided to attend the writers conference in Vegas.

As the passengers prepared to disembark the plane several hours later, Grant asked Jessica if she wanted to share a cab to the strip. She without hesitation agreed.
