The Christmas and New Years party circuit is one of the professional photographer's better times of the year, frequently filled with company parties or hotels wanting their New Years activities covered. This past Christmas party season proved to be quite the adventure, at least at one of the parties I took pictures at.

The gig required me to set up a portrait scenario; you know, painted background, a couple of lights, move the couple in, get them posed (prom position is what it is frequently called), move them out for the next couple.
