Tori's night at The Dew Drop Inn.

Tori and I both work days, but I frequently pick up side jobs, which keep me away from the house at night. Although Tori's always very understanding, she gets lonely when I am away until the wee hours of the morning. Last Friday I had a job downtown, and Tori mentioned that her drinking buddy Roxie had called and wanted her to come to the City and party. Since I was going downtown to work I volunteered to be the Designated driver, dropping "T" off at the bar where Roxie was already partying and then pick them up on my way home at closing time.

It was about 1:00 A.M. when I got off and threw a call to Tori to find out where to pick up my darling wife. As Tori answered the phone she sounded winded and when I asked where I should pick her up she hemmed and hawed for a moment and then asked "Are you off already?" Puzzled by her question, I became slightly suspicious that Tori had been interrupted in the middle of something. I told her that the gig had ended a little early and that I was coming down to pick her and Rox up, and again asked where I could meet them. Tori surprised me with her answer when she said she would have to check to see which bar she was in and call me back.

Knowing that when "T" and Roxie go out, both of them get very wasted and have a ball flirting with men for free drinks, I wasn't terribly surprised that she was confused but then I began to think about the ...
