Spring Mysteries Festival

This story covers three years that I attended this event while living near Seattle.

As a Wiccan living near Seattle, I had the opportunity to be part of the Spring Mysteries Festival. This festival is held every year over Easter weekend with over three hundred people from all over the world attending, and takes place at Fort Flaggler state park. The park is a 784-acre marine camping park surrounded on three sides by 19,100 feet of saltwater shoreline, and rests on a high bluff overlooking Puget Sound, with views of the Olympic and Cascade Mountains. Many historic buildings remain at this 19th-century-established military fort, and some of these have been converted to cabins.

The cast members for the drama stay in private cabins while the rest stay in communal barracks type accommodations. There are four shower buildings, two being communal and coed, and the other two being segregated male and female and having private shower stalls.
