Wilcox looked almost amused as the three younger men sat in front of his impressive desk. He noticed the bruises on the faces of both McMaster and Kal. He remarked, "I see you two have become well acquainted. I'd be a little careful of the Sergeant Major Kal. He's a top notch commando and he's coming along to protect your ass."

Kal grinned, "I've already been apprised of that situation sir. Jack has a damned good right upper cut."

Everyone laughed and with the ice broken the general got down to business. "In brief gentlemen we're trying to get an effective teleportation system set up in New Zion in the near future. This project has the highest priority security restrictions. It means you are to kill yourself rather than permit unauthorized persons from obtaining any information about the computer, receptor or transmission device. We're walking into new ground and we don't want this falling into the wrong hands. If I had the smallest suspicion about your honesty and loyalty you wouldn't leave this room alive do you understand? Am I getting through?"
