Today was the anniversary of the day when that madman walked into that theater and tore Brandie's world apart. Maggie then knew why Brandie's behavior had changed so suddenly.

She dropped the belt onto the floor as she walked over to where Brandie was standing. She put her arms around Brandie and she pulled her into her body. She felt Brandie's body tense up as she tried to push Maggie away but Maggie wasn't about to let that happen. She just held on tighter.
