We had planned on just meeting for the day, doing a little gambling and then going back home at four. The casino was basically halfway between our houses so it made for a good place to meet up to hang for a day. They had some package deal that got them a ferry across the sound, bus ride to the casino, free games and a buffet meal, so they were planning on going anyway. I thought it would be cool to meet up with them and hang till four and then go back home. Didn't quite work out like that though.

By seven we were all quite close to drunk and pretty sure we were not going anywhere.

By nine we were definitely drunk, had a hotel room to stay in and my gal was taking a train after work that would get her there around eleven thirty.

We went up to look at our room, it was nice, two queen beds, a big shower, I was already thinking of what might possibly happen later on in this room. I decided to hop in the shower for a second to freshen up before going back down to the casino.

Tim, Maria and I went back down to the casino after hanging out in the room for a little while. Maria had never been to a casino before and she was instantly hooked on roulette. I'm pretty sure that's the only reason they even stayed longer than they had planned. ...
