All good things have to come to an end eventually, and so it was with my summer at camp with Shanni and Risa. After ten long weeks of campers, counselors and even a few moments of illicit fun, it was finally the last week of camp. Our campers were almost as ready to get back to civilization as we were, even though it meant they would be returning to school. For my part, I was looking forward to my senior year, and knew that after all the adventures I'd had that summer, I would be more than ready for anything that life chose to throw at me in the coming year.

Boy was I wrong.

The next to last day of camp, all the campers were sent on a scavenger hunt through the two hundred plus acres of camp property, and we counselors were given the morning off to clean the cabins, find all the lost socks, etc that kids lose at camp, and generally have a morning to ourselves. The Brothers and Sisters had taken the campers, and were planning on using the time as instructional moments about creation. I had already cleaned my cabin the night before, since I knew what was coming for the campers, and so I had the entire morning to do whatever I felt like. And what I felt like, was getting clean.

So, I trooped off to the showers that were built in the basement of the main lodge, in a tiny room off the laundry. The girl's bathroom was a little larger than the guy's, but I only had Shanni's word for that. ...
