Tim and I met as friends at a restaraunt on Bonita Beach. I was having water, and we hit it off when he wanted to buy me a drink. I said " Water." and chuckled and he said "Me too." We laughed and found out we didn't drink, and started talking from there.

We found out we had things in common - weren't political, weren't into the gay scene, both very private with sexuality, loved the beach, loved the arts, liked football and science fiction.

Tim mentioned he was gay, and i stated that i was coming to accept that about myself, late in life, but I was an average looking guy, average build to athletic, short in height (obvious to him), and pretty honest almost to a fault.

This prompted him to open up. He was clean shaven, about ten years older than me, at 50, but he looked younger. Definitely in shape. I liked waists, and his was easily 30 inches on a 5'8" frame. He was a professor and taught at the university , world civ to 1500 AD mainly. He was qualified to teach other subjects as well too. He was very private about sexuality, like I said, and was seeking a long term monogamous relationship.
