I manage the marketing department for a relatively large company. I've been at my job for 13 years, and I'm very happy. This is contrary to what many of my colleagues believe. I believe my nickname among them is, "Mr. Giggles." I find this amusing, but understand why people call me this. I am a very serious guy at work, and I keep things strictly professional with all my co-workers. I believe, as a supervisor, this is the best approach. It eliminates the possibility of any sort of drama. Next week I'll be going to a conference, which I usually send my subordinates to, because it gives them a chance to go to Las Vegas on the company's dime. However, this year's conference is different, because my company has asked me to present. Being Mr. Fairness, I announced to the office that it would be me plus one going this year, and that I had already put everyone's name into a bowl.

"And the winner is...Lara." I wanted someone to demand a recount.

"Aah! Awesome, are we going to have time to gamble?"

That was Lara, the newest member of my team, at 24. She was competent enough, but a little too bubbly for me, and by bubbly, I mean flirtatious, and by flirtatious, I mean slutty.
