We had decided to head back home from our vacation a little earlier than we had planned. The week at the lake was great and Christy and I were relaxed. We decided to get home a little early and have a full day at home before rushing back to work. As we neared our development we reminisced about how we felt like kids again at the lake and I could tell that Christy was in the mood. I was too.

It was a hot, sticky and particularly dark night. As we rounded the last few bends in the road before our driveway all I could think of was releasing our friend Barb from her house sitting responsibilities and heading to the bedroom with Christy.

Barb was a friend of ours who lived in a small apartment a few miles away.
