Tonight is probably going to be a tremendous snooze-fest. You gotta do what you gotta do though, and Sam is a good friend, and also my boss, so what choice did I have. He's receiving the Super Businessman of the Year Award, or something to that affect, given by some prestigious institution. What does this mean? Well for me it means determining what I can and can't eat with my hands, figuring out which fork goes with what, and, most importantly, knowing when to call it quits at the open bar. I enter the ballroom, still very fidgety in my tuxedo, and try to locate the bar as soon as possible to take my edge off. I order a gin and tonic from the robotic bartender and remain an arm's length away, knowing it won't be long before I require a refill.

"Well don't you look sophisticated?"

I recognized the voice, but I did a quadruple take when I saw the person it came from, "Jocelyn?" Holy cow. It was impossible to take the look I gave her back. Her broad smile indicated that she had seen it. I'm sure she knew it was coming though, from the moment she decided to don that dress.

"Is that a martini Mr. Bond?"

My brain was no longer working, "Huh? Oh Mr. Bond, James Bond. I get it. No, just a tin and gonic, gin and tonic."
