Confessions Of A Part-Time Model Thursday April 23, 2009

A funny thing happened on the way to the bank. It turned out we were a few dollars short on covering the mortgage payment. Fortunately a classified advertisement that I had placed on craigslist to sell some garden furniture was answered and we were able to cover the cheque. It was a wake up call though and I realized that unless something was done about it we would be in the same situation at the end of the next month.

I should provide a little background information so that this story makes more sense. I am 26 years of age, married and the mother of a beautiful 16 month old girl. My husband and daughter are the treasures of my life and there is precious little that I wouldn't do to protect and ensure the safety and happiness of my family.

Before I met my husband to be, my life had been chaotic. I'd run away from home at the age of 15 and for a time supported myself, my deadbeat boyfriend and our out of control drug addictions by prostituting myself on the mean streets of Vancouver's notorious downtown eastside. This was during the time when the infamous Robert Willie Pickton roamed the dark streets and alleys, luring naïve drug addicted women to his pig farm on the outskirts of town with promises of money and [censored]. They were never seen again.
