Small World Donny Malloy sat swinging his feet off the jetty, intently watching the tip of his fishing pole. He'd had a few nibbles in the last few minutes, but nothing that warranted him attempting to set the hook just yet. It was the summer of 1989, and he had just graduated from the small lake side community high school he had attended.

When the tip of the rod suddenly bent sharply towards the water, he yanked back and smiled. "'Bout freakin time!" he muttered as he started to reel in. The fish was a fighter, but he knew from experience that the small lake didn't have any true monsters.

After a few minutes of working the fish, he finally saw it break the surface a few feet below him. Dipping the rod as low as he could, he reeled in the fish until it was only a foot or so from the tip. "Come to papa," he muttered as he swung the rod up and onto the jetty.

He hadn't heard or seen her approach; however, when the small perch hit her on the top of her left thigh, she let out a loud squeal. "Oh my God, that's so gross!" she yelled. Her squeal had so startled him; he inadvertently threw the entire rod into the water, with the fish still attached.

She was perhaps 5' 2" tall, with mousy brown hair and a cute face. Although she wasn't what you'd call model thin, she still had a cute figure on her slightly pudgy frame, and the T-shirt and cutoff jean ...
