This is another true story from my life—Mark Johnstone. It began October 15, 2009.

It was a typical Thursday. I was at the airport preparing to teach an advanced ground school class using the latest GPS devices available to the private flying sector. My class was less than hour away when in walked a very, very statuesque brunette named Courtney Jones. I know it sounds corny, but that's really her name. She's the founder and CEO of an Atlanta-based medical and educational software company. We shook hands and I asked her why she was there and she said she wanted to learn to fly. She was hoping to purchase a plane and fly on business, most of which was located within the US borders. I gave her my standard form to fill out and told her I was about to teach a class on some of the latest navigational tools available to pilots today. I told her she was invited to sit in and audit the class and that I'd complete the interview process afterward. She said she thought it would be interesting and said she would. Courtney was, as I perused her form, a 50-year old divorcee. She stood 5'10" and weighed 145 lbs. She was a 36C and had the shapeliest legs I'd seen in a while. She was miffed at me knowing her weight, so I told her I have to have exact weights of people so we can do weight and balance exercises before we make our first introductory flight.
