The next morning, they started on the kitchen as it needed to be done first thing so that the cabinets could be put into place. They worked around where the cabinets would go as the rest of the crew worked on the siding and putting the windows into place. They were both soon soaked in sweat and wishing that the heat pump was in place so that they could get some relief from the heat inside of the house. Since the room was pretty much set in a rectangle, they made quick work on it. The glue would still have to set and would do so by the morning. They continued to work until lunch and after they had eaten, they finished the living room. They were just finishing up the tile when Bud called it a day. Since they only had a few more tiles to put down, Daphne made everyone wait on them to finish. She wanted this job completed today.
