My wife was carrying on with her boss to the knowledge of everyone and as often is the case, the husband was the last to know. My first reaction was, understandably, anger. I wanted to hurt her badly and take a revenge that would become a benchmark in days to come. Then came the sadness, the thought of self-destruction.
