At the stage of my life I have just entered, that being a newly divorced woman finding her way around in today's single population. It is hard not recall the experiences I have encountered along my sexual highway. It is difficult at times to recall the way I was and realize what I missed out on. But looking back some of it is hysterical as well. When someone struggles with their finances for two thirds of their life and then suddenly has money, they can easily recall what life was like before money. However, when someone always has money it is difficult to imagine all the creative ways the less fortunate person comes up with to make things work. I feel similarly about my sex life when I compare then and now. Fear is a powerful motivator. I grew up and spent most of my adult life afraid of sex. The fear of being labeled bad, dirty, cheap, you know, all the stereotypes that many women felt they would be labeled with if word got out that they enjoyed sex. God forbid liked things a little different.
