Jenny and her new husband, Kenneth had just gotten back from their honey moon. Their new apartment now cost twice as much as the one Ken had before they got married. It was a bit larger, even though Ken didn't think they needed the extra room. Jenny got the kind of wedding she always wanted. It was a church wedding and all her friends were there to send her off for her marriage.

Jenny and Ken had talked about getting help with paying for the apartment, so Ken had invited one of his best friends to live with them in the new apartment. Baxter and ken had been friends since they were about nine years old and had gotten to the point where each thought the other kind of knew what the other was planning or even thinking. Ken and Baxter even had the conversation where they talked about where Baxter was going to go and live after Ken moved out.

It was a bit later when Ken asked Baxter to move in with them and share the cost of the apartment, Baxter was very glad. Jenny was not, however and told ken so. Jenny had on accession, thought that Baxter came on a bit too friendly. She told Ken that she didn't feel comfortable with having Baxter living there in the apartment. Ken, was of the opinion that Baxter was all mouth and would never do anything that might be questioned.
