It was the second night of the three day punk festival when it eventually happened. We, my girlfriend and I, were celebrating our tenth anniversary and were staying in a bed and breakfast in the seaside resort of Blackpool.

Before we'd had kids we used to attend this type of event regularly, but being parents had rendered us ‘responsible citizens' and such activities were now a rarity in our lives.
