I recently attended the wedding and reception of my nephew and his bride. Here's what might have played out if I'd been more bold. The names are changed.

"You haven't danced with me yet," she playfully said by way of introduction. The night was still young. I was on my way to the mens room, and she was just leaving the ladies'.
